Studio Bot uses Codey, a new AI model for text-to-code generation announced by Google today that can suggest code as developers type into the editor. It can also generate code from a prompt.

Built on top of Codey, Google's new PaLM 2-based foundation model trained for coding, the Studio Bot will roll out to developers in the U.S. first.

These AI models, which also power Studio Bot in Android Studio and Duet in Google Cloud, can help developers write code faster and improve the quality of their code.
