An Andean bear named Ben, who weighs 300 pounds, escaped from his enclosure at the St. Louis Zoo for the second time this month. Officials were able to safely retrieve him.

Ben, a 4-year-old Andean bear who escaped from his enclosure at the St. Louis Zoo twice last month, is being moved to a park in Texas where he will be surrounded by a moat.

The 4-year-old bear, Ben, fled the outdoor enclosure at 1 p.m., the zoo said in a news release. Guests and staff members were moved indoors, and Ben was secured roughly 50 minutes later, the zoo said.
