Microsoft provides a library of notebooks to help you learn other tools, including using Python with its CNTK deep learning framework and building and training Azure ML models.

Azure Notebooks currently support Python 2, Python 3, R, and F# kernels. For some reason, SQL is not listed in the online documentation, but I have installed and used both a Spark and SQL kernel.

The Azure Machine Learning platform is built from the hardware level up. It is open to the tools and frameworks of your choice. If it runs on Python, you can do it within the tools and frameworks.
