Google managed to make this media picker a part of the Google Play Services, which means that you don’t actually need to have Android 13 on your phone to use it.
Being able to search for yourself, videos, or places means that the process is far more precise. Android’s Photo Picker was initially rolled out to enforce further privacy and security.
