The standard, core Flutter framework is also being updated to version 1.5, delivering changes of its own, including Dart 2.3 support and a new UI-as-code language features.

Google’s betting big on Flutter, as can be seen from its presence at I/O 2017 and another big push coming for I/O 2018. This is a smart move by Google, assuming Fuchsia will be important later.
