QUINCY, Calif. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Plumas County Board of Supervisors in Quincy had its first Hindu invocation on June 19, containing verses from world's oldest existing scripture.

Ancient Hindu scriptures will be read tonight for the invocation at the start of the Yuba City City Council meeting, among six cities where Hindu leader Rajan Zed is reading Sanskrit scriptures.
