ZANESVILLE ‒ Zanesville has been a tree city for nearly three decades, so to celebrate, an uniquely named tree is going into Confluence Park that will eventually bloom light pink every spring.

The city will hold its annual Arbor Day ceremony at 3 p.m. April 25, and will also honor its 28th year in the Tree City USA program with a thundercloud flowering plum tree.
