BANGALORE: The Sri Sri Centre for Media Studies will launch a full-time one year post graduate diploma course in Kannada language journalism from the coming academic year starting July 2002.

From this academic year, second year engineering students of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and affiliated colleges will have to take a compulsory credit course in Kannada.
