Previously available in the Firefox betas, the HTML5-based PDF viewer has now made it into the stable release with the launch of Firefox 19 for Windows, Mac and Linux today.

A prominent source of Google leaks, AssembleDebug, first spotted this two-page PDF viewer layout within v2.23.407.1 of Google Drive for Android a couple of weeks ago.

Files by Google support for PDF documents is set to get a shot in the arm with Android 15, gaining new built-in tools like zoom and search.
