Jackson Hospital & Clinic is increasing community programming following financial difficulties. New initiatives include a Patient and Family Advisory Council and stroke awareness education.

Community has always been central to Python. Only a handful of developers work on the core programming language full-time, with much of the contributions to the code coming from an army of volunteers.

Despite the throes of COVID-19 limiting in-person events, the rapid expansion is due to With/Creators’ power to curate intentional and authentic storytelling through community-led programming.

Additionally, defendants at Bronx Community Solutions perform more than 40,000 hours of community service each year, including beautifying spaces, much like the placemaking program on the Island.
