Aptana, maker of Web development and cloud computing tools, has acquired the Pydev IDE for Python development. The Eclipse-based Pydev tools suite supports Google App Engine development.

I have about a year of Python under my belt, and am starting to learn Java so I figured I'd try using a IDE that supports both languages and so I am trying out Eclipse with the Pydev plugin.
