Kalil placed second in the 2024 Florida Python Challenge’s professional category with her 10-day take of 19 snakes. About 860 people participated in the 2024 contest from 33 states and Canada.

The 2023 Florida Python Challenge is now underway. Participants this year will have the chance to win a share of more than $30,000 in prizes while removing invasive Burmese pythons from the wild.
