The GG Wildlife Rescue in Australia recently shared images of an olive python, native only to the country “down under,” engorged on a freshwater crocodile many times his size.

The snake apparently took around 15 minutes to eat the crocodile, but another witness, Alyce Rosenthal, told the Brisbane Times that the two creatures fought for about five hours in total.

The five-hour struggle ended with the 10-foot snake killing the crocodile and swallowing it whole. "It was amazing," witness Tiffany Corlis told the BBC.
