This LEDarcade clock runs on Raspberry Pi, features retro arcade games, and shows time in style. LEDarcade, which was designed from scratch without tutorials, offers nine different retro game titles.
– RTC: Real time clock, Microchip MCP7490N based. This device allows Raspberry Pi to keep the right time without having internet connection. The clock is backed up by a CR1220 coin cell.
The display of choice is the KeDei LCD 3.5″ module which was originally intended for use with a Raspberry Pi.
The monitor, called the HDMIPi, will include an LCD panel that will show images at a resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels and could cost only $100.
