Specifically, TextEdit and Keynote, as the subject suggests. <BR><BR>Currently, in order to do subscript, I have to go to Format->Font->Baseline->Subscript and then reduce the font size.
In the Categories list, choose Format. From the resulting Commands list, drag Subscript (or Superscript) to the toolbar and release it. Thanks to reader, Lynda Sanders for prompting this quick tip!
