Last December, WABI was there as 300 trees from Maine Christmas tree farmers were donated to the national Trees for Troops program. They were shipped out to five military bases around the U.S.

The city is one of four groups that have come together to plant hundreds of new trees in a northwest park. It's part of a much larger goal to grow Calgary's tree canopy by 2060.

Denver is working to expand its green workforce, but a part of that is making sure people have the stomach for it.
