The Android app development course contains 35 hours of on-demand video, three articles, and a certificate for completion.

The course commitment is approximately 6 hours of study during each of 8 weeks, throughout which Android development fundamentals will be covered.

This course builds on the Android Basics curriculum, which is also aimed at beginners, but was released in 2016, before Google supported Kotlin for Android.
