JQuery Mobile has featured an HTML5 UI for mobile device platforms and is positioned as touch-optimized; jQuery UI is a curated set of UI interactions, effects, themes and widgets.

There was only one problem with committing to using it: the lack of UI widgets. Since we embraced jQuery and jQuery UI, we decided to build on top of them, using their frameworks and guidelines.
