A Polk County deputy and a Bartow police officer are injured after a Fort Meade man opened fire outside Bartow Lowe's on Good Friday evening.

Two Mifflin Township police officers were shot around 6:40 p.m. near Mecca Road and Perdue Avenue. Both were taken to Grant Medical Center.
