Yes you can play solo on private server but that would amount to PVE, I mean I’ve done it before and it’s cool. Practice a bunch of monuments and stuff... but it’s not the rust experience.

Jun 30, 2023 · I mean can i play on a map without any other human player and only enviroment? there are solo servers for only solos. or solo duo servers. and so on. u can not play offline, but u can join a dead server with no players. if the server is bad enough, nobody will ever join you. there are also roleplay servers, which disable any pvp damage.

You can play a wipe to mainly get blueprints and play the later ones without having to hussle for scrap and BP if you like that. I personally much prefer monthly servers playing solo.
