Inbox shows 1 unread message For weeks I seem to a phantom unread message in my personal gmail inbox. I cant seem to locate it and used the search email box: unread and nothing shows up. Anyone seen this before?

For about a month my Gmail says there is 1 unread email but I can not find it. Does not matter the device: iphone, laptop, ipad... they all show one unread message

Jun 29, 2019 · 5 This worked for me. Go to the Settings icon - choose settings - click on Inbox and near the top is a box called Inbox type - you can select 'Unread first' from that menu - scroll down to save your changes and the missing emails should appear.

Apr 6, 2020 · My primary tab showing 1 unread email even though there are no unread emails. I tried all the options from the forums but nothing worked. Showing 1 red number on my gmail app on my iphone too. So annoying..Please help
